Hi my name is Roberta and I love what I do. I became fascinated with the human body during a particularly stressful period in my life. I noticed how stress manifested in my physical body and I felt drawn to massage and holistic therapies to support myself. I trained as a massage therapist in 2013 and it was the catalyst for my own healing at a deeper level.

Working intuitively my treatments usually include a combination of therapeutic approaches, supporting the body’s innate healing system in achieving balance. Through my training I knew I wanted to make massage accessible to more people and to support my clients in optimising overall natural health. I feel incredibly privileged that I get to share my passion for health and wellbeing with my clients every day.

We are living busier, longer lives; our minds are barraged by stimulation and in general we are moving less than ever before. Massage works on many levels; targeting muscles and connective tissues it sends messages to the body to let go and to heal.

My mission is to help you heal. I want you to leave your session feeling better, but my priority is your overall health.
Massage engages the parasympathetic nervous system which tells the body it is ok to go into rest and repair state. 1 hour of massage is the equivalent of 8 hours sleep in terms of allowing the mind body space to repair. Massage improves circulation which is vital to a smooth blood flow and delivery of nutrients around the body. It helps to increase the range of movement available to a person so that they can enjoy life more fully and with less pain.
I am a professional massage therapist - any suggestions for services which are not on my list will be taken seriously and police will be involved.
I have been practicing for 9 years and am a member of the Scottish Massage Therapist Organisation (SMTO). The requirements for membership are very strict and I have to do training every year in order to keep improving as a therapist.
Trained through reputable School and fully insured to practice.
